Holiness unto the Lord!
Greetings from our warm house in cold Michigan. Our furnace was out
for the past two days and nights. Out of the attic, out of the box, came
the new kerosene heater. Thank God it worked. Corrie exclaimed that she
felt like Laura from her Little House on the Prairie books when they ran out
of coal and were cold.
Perhaps some of you remember from an update last fall about the mom who
came out of the abortion mill and asked for a quick ride home before the man
who had brought her stopped her. Her twins were born on Jan. 27th. Joshua
weighed two pounds eight ounces and Caleb only one pound twelve ounces.
Being premature and so small, they will be in the intensive care neo-natal
unit at the hospital for a while yet. Children this premature need to sleep
and grow to survive. Due to some challenges in the mother's life, she
arranged with the hospital for Trish to daily visit the boys in her place.
I stayed home and took care of her responsibilities while she would visit
these precious little guys. It is now possible for the mother to visit
them, so the hospital told Trish that she can only visit when accompanied by
the mother. The babies need prayer to make it. Their mother needs prayer
also. Joshua is still on I.V. tubes and experiences sharp pain whenever
they poke and try to get the needle in one of his tiny veins.
A girl named Shahmell (spelling?) came out of a Saginaw abortion mill
two weeks ago and said that she couldn't do it (kill her child). She
requested prayer, which I gave. Please join us in continuing to pray for
her. She hasn't kept in touch with us like she said she would.
The U.S. Marshals stormed and seized the Indianapolis Baptist Temple on
Tuesday, Feb. 13. No, we weren't down there while it happened, but other
friends of ours were. President Bush and Attorney General John Ashcroft
could have stopped this act of tyranny with a word, but they supported it.
For those of you who haven't heard of this one yet, the federal government
ordered the IBT to become a corporation, become a tax collection business,
and pay six million dollars in taxes that they didn't owe. We all spent the
better part of six weeks down there since November, camping and worshipping
in contempt of court. The Bay City Times interviewed us and did a fair
article about us and IBT. The U.S. Marshals can add this to their ignoble
history of the massacre at Wounded Knee, South Dakota, enforcing the
Fugitive Slave Law, Ruby Ridge, and enabling infanticide by protecting
abortion. Having such tyrants rule is one of the judgements of God. For
more information, please click on www.indianapolisbaptisttemple.com. In my
biased opinion, the poem written by Mrs. Dixon on the day of the raid is one of
the best Christian poems I have ever read.
I'm trying again this year through the Michigan District of the
Assemblies of God to update and expand the national pro-life position paper
of the Assemblies of God. Please pray. I've got some time now to research
and write. This has been on my heart for years.
If the Lord allows us, we plan to go to Wichita with Operation Save
America July 15-21. Can you please come?
The Associated Press ran a recent article about the "tragedy" that
Saginaw was the northernmost city where Michigan women can murder their
children by surgical abortion at a "clinic". True, we have seen people who
drive from the western Upper Peninsula up to 500 miles to come and kill
their children here. God is blessing prayer, sidewalk counseling, rescuing,
and street preaching by winning souls to Christ, reducing abortions, and
reducing the number of butcher shops. They are spending more and more on
ads while killing less. We are called to be witnesses for Christ and the
humanity of children, but if we allow the high places of child-sacrifice in
our land, Isaiah chapter one says that even our sacrifices and prayer have
become an abomination to God. Any woman or girl in Michigan can still
murder her children before they are born for any or no reason. Yes, many
of the women that we meet claim to be Christians as they walk into the death
chambers to pay money for their children to die. There is a tremendous need
for pulpits to thunder again.
The building housing both Saginaw abortuaries is still up for sale.
Please pray that righteous investors would come forth.
Please pray for our family as we attempt to stand in the gaps where
floods of judgment are soon to overcome this nation. Please contact us for
times to come and minister with us at the death camps of Saginaw (those of
you who are locals). Thank you for your support.
I am shouting GLORY all the way!
Cal (for Trish, Corrie, David, Jim, & Eva)
