A BABY IS SAVED
On January 30, we had just arrived and parked in the front of the mill
(in the rain). A
girl and her mother came to the front door which was locked. As they
turned to go around back, Mary Penner approached them and handed the girl
one of our papers and talked to her for a few minutes. She listened and
seemed really interested until her mother said, "We'd better go on in."
About an half hour later they came out of the driveway. The girl walked
over to Mary and gave her a hug, saying, "Thank you so much," wiping
tears. Her mother also smiled and said, "Thank you." Mary asked the
girl, "You didn't do it?" The girl said, "No." Mary asked if we could
help and her mother said, "She's OK." They both said, "Thank you"
again as they walked away.
ANOTHER BABY IS SAVED
While ministering at "A Capital Woman's Health Clinic" on Wednesday,
Feb. 7, 2001, a baby was saved. A woman from Fort Lee (Army Base) drove
up and came over to speak with Mary Penner and I. We learned that she
had been to the Tri-Cities CPC the day before but was scheduled to have
her baby killed today. She struggled with the idea for some time and
came out to speak with us several times. Ultimately she chose to leave
and said she was going to go to the CPC the next day. Please pray that
she will be committed in this decision for life.
A BABY IS BORN
Yesterday at 8:15am our new baby boy arrived. He was seven and a half
pounds and 21 inches long with lots of dark hair. He is doing great and
so is Ruthy. His name is "Noah Eleazar Benayah Green"
WHY THIS NAME?
NOAH
Gen. 6:8-9 "But Noah found favour in the eyes of YHWH. This is the
genealogy of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his generations.
Noah walked with Elohim."
Hebrews 11:7 "By faith, Noah, having been warned of what was yet unseen,
moved with fear, prepared an ark to save his household; by the which he
condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by
faith."
ELEAZAR
1 Maccabees 7 43-46 "Eleazar, called Avaran, saw one of the beasts
bigger than any of the others and covered with royal armor, and he
thought the king must be on it. So he gave up his life to save his
people and win an everlasting name for himself. He dashed up to it in
the middle of the phalanx, killing men right and left, so that they fell
back from him on both sides. He ran right under the elephant and stabbed
it in the belly, killing it. The beast fell to the ground on top of him,
and he died there."
BENAYAH
1 Chronicles 11:22-24 "Benayah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a
valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men
of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit on a snowy day. And
he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits tall; and in the
Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam; and he went down to him
with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew
him with his own spear. These things did Benayah the son of Jehoiada,
and won a name among the three mighty men."
May he walk in great faith as a fearless and bold man of YHWH.
Proverbs 22:1 "A Good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favor rather than silver and gold."
