We had just arrived and parked in the front of the mill (in the rain). A girl and her mother came to the front door which was locked. As they turned to go around back, Mary Penner approached them and handed the girl one of our papers and talked to her for a few minutes. She listened and seemed really interested until her mother said, "We'd better go on in." About an half hour later they came out of the driveway. The girl walked over to Mary and gave her a hug, saying, "Thank you so much," wiping tears. Her mother also smiled and said, "Thank you." Mary asked the girl, "You didn't do it?" The girl said, "No." Mary asked if we could help and her mother said, "She's OK." They both said , "Thank you," again as they walked away.
