NEWS FROM THE FRONT LINES
Today (1/4/01) as Mary Penner, Caleb and I ministered at the mill, I was
approached by an SS (Social Services) agent. She was working on an
investigation which was sparked by two deceitful Richmond City cops. I
had been falsely accused of endangering my children by allowing them to
be outside with me as I ministered on a nippy day. I have no doubt that
I was the only parent in the State of Virginia that was assaulted that
day even though hundreds of thousands of children were probably playing
outside at that same time. Most of them with less clothes on than my
children. Our true crime is that we refused to bow to the golden calf of
legalized child sacrifice. I explained to her the history of harassment
that we have suffered from the Richmond Police Department and this was
just one more effort by several officers to drive us from the street. I
then respectfully told her that I refused to play in this game of
harassment and would not speak with her about my well-cared-for children.
We shall see where this goes. I'd appreciate your prayers.
A BABY WAS SAVED ON TUESDAY
My two oldest boys and I were ministering at "A Capital Women's Health
Clinic" on Tuesday (1/2/01) and were privileged to be used of the Father
to save a baby from the killer inside. HalleluYah.
A BABY WAS SAVED TODAY
Today (1/4/01), just after the SS agent departed, We had another great
opportunity to minister to a young mother. She was visibly struggling
with her decision to abort her child and eventually decided to allow me
to take her to the Crisis Pregnancy Center. She chose life! We are
going to stay in touch with her and minister to her throughout her
pregnancy and beyond.
STANDING OUR GROUND
I have noticed that as our effectiveness on the sidewalk has increased,
so have the enemies attacks. They have been somewhat vicious lately but
I find it a privilege to suffer for the One who suffered so much for me.
WISDOM FROM THE MOUTHS OF BABES
My sons have stood by my side and witnessed many glorious saves and
chilling attacks at the killing centers. They have more street outreach
hours under their belts than most men who claim to follow the Messiah.
They also see the hypocrisy in the empty words of Church folk as babies
are murdered. Today I was speaking to Caleb (11 yrs old) after the SS
agent left. I told him that we do not live in a country that respects
YHWH's law and that the complacent and evil rulers of our society will
not be content until Christians stay silently in their homes and do
nothing while the wicked are allowed to rule our society without
opposition.
Caleb said "Christians already do that."
I couldn't argue with him. Does your life prove his statement to be
false?
