Some of the Chinese women who are incarcerated in the Lerdo Detention Facility have given up their hopes of freedom in America, deciding to voluntarily return to China. After almost three years of incarceration, they are tired of wasting time. Even though they expect to be incarcerated upon their return to China, they hope that their family members may be able to pay the government to release them. Some of the Chinese men from the Golden Venture were returned to China last week.
