Zhou Shiu Yon (also known as "Betty") was married in Indiana on February 6. Terri Palmquist was unexpectedly able to attend the wedding because she needed to accompany Lin Li Juan to Indiana. "God's timing is amazing!" Terri exclaimed.
"The wedding was very beautiful and brought much
glory to God," Terri observed. Radio
personality Bob Enyart performed the ceremony. A
guard from the Lerdo Detention
Facility who had befriended "Betty" in jail was the
Matron of Honor, and also sang a
beautiful wedding song. Another Bakersfield resident
who visited "Betty" often also flew
to Indiana for the wedding.
