Voice For Life joins Voice For Life
Rush Limbaugh's home town now represented on local ministry map
For thirteen years, Voice For Life has been active in many aspects of
pro-life ministry in Southeast Missouri. As a result of their efforts,
the local abortion chamber shut down 10 years ago, and many babies' lives
have been saved. Voice For Life operates a crisis pregnancy
center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri (Rush Limbaugh's home town).
In 1992, Tim and Terri Palmquist of LifeSavers Ministries in
Bakersfield, California, were
looking for a new name for a new pro-life effort they were starting. They
chose the name "Voice For Life," not realizing that another organization was
already using this name. This California-based Voice For Life has now grown
into this website and internet ministry network (and hopefully will soon grow into a
national radio program).
When Judie Brown of American Life League posted a link to Voice For Life
in a recent issue of her Communique newsletter, a member of Missouri's
Voice For Life, surprised to see their name being used by another organization,
contacted Tim Palmquist.
After various messages were exchanged regarding the similar goals of the
two Voice For Life organizations, the Missouri-based Voice For Life group
agreed to become a participant in the California-based Voice For Life
website.

page.
Hopefully, nobody will be confused by these two different Voice For Life
organizations. After all, both serve the same Lord, both seek the same goals, and both have seen the
same results: babies saved from abortions and abortion chambers shut down.
