Our eugenic society Or: Kill the bastards (commentary)
Paul Greenberg (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
"We're out there saving society," said abortionist Tom Tvedten of Little
Rock. "Most of the people in [the state prison farm] are from single-parent
families and weren't planned or wanted." Viewed in this (dim) light,
abortion becomes a kind of pre-emptive strike, a way of eliminating the
criminal element early. How efficient. Think of it as capital punishment
without the bother of a trial, let alone a verdict and sentence.

Pro-life group responds to arrest of James Kopp for shooting abortionist
Operation Save America Buffalo
"If James Kopp is guilty of the senseless killing of Dr. Slepian, this
would make James Kopp pro-choice, not pro-life. The pro-life movement is
dedicated to the saving of life, not the taking of life."
For more background on Kopp, consult
LifeSite Daily News.

Court overturns $109 million verdict
LifeSite Daily News

anti-abortion activists Wednesday, ruling that the First Amendment protects
the "Nuremberg Files" website and wanted posters
branding abortion doctors "baby butchers" and criminals.
Church posts pro-life billboard
KCRA
The Church of Glad Tidings in Yuba City, California, has posted a billboard
that reads: "Don't end your pregnancy. We will raise your child." According

Kansas attracts aborting mothers
The Topeka Capital-Journal
Nearly half of the women who had their babies aborted in Kansas last year
were from other states, a Kansas agency reported Monday. Abortionist George
Tiller's Wichita abortion mill was cited as the main reason. Legislators
said Tiller thrives because Kansas law allows doctors to commit late-term
abortions to protect the mother's mental, as well as physical, health.
Over 90% of the abortions committed in Kansas after 22 weeks were on women
from other states.
Arkansas abortionists speak out
Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
Four abortionists publicly admit that they commit abortions in Arkansas.
Abortionist Tom Tvedten, 54, said "this is a cash business, and doctors can
make as much doing this as in family practice. I don't think there's ever
going to be a shortage of providers."
Protest held in Fort Myers abortionist's neighborhood
The News-Press
About 50 pro-lifers held a prayer vigil on Sunday in the neighborhood of
abortionist Fernando Betancourt. Some protesters carried rosaries, while
others held blue, triangle-shaped flags symbolizing unity and triumph. The
demonstration was the third in recent years at the homes of Southwest Florida
abortionists. The first, in 1997 at the Naples home of Dr. Wallace McLean,
caused McLean to stop committing abortions.
Aborted baby billboard project proposed
Creator's Rights Party
The Proverbs 31:8 Project seeks to confront confused or apostate people with
the images created by the abortion war. "People confronted with the actual
images of the slaughtered babies are changed by the experience."

Rock For Life's San Bernardino affiliate will protest the "rock for
Big Abortion" event on

about the personhood of every human being from the moment of
fertilization/conception," said Erik Whittington, director of Rock For
Life.

Boston hospital's late-term abortion program shuts down
The Boston Globe
The late-term abortion program at Brigham and Women's Hospital was
quietly shut down earlier this year after the chief abortionist was
accused of threatening to murder his staff. At least one child has
apparently been saved by the hospital's action, according to Pam Nourse,
spokeswoman for
Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, who lamented "we know of at least
one person who fell through the cracks... She had to go ahead with her
pregnancy."

Dallas abortion chamber closes
Star-Telegram
A north Dallas abortion mill which gained publicity when Operation Rescue moved
next door, prompting the Christian conversion of Roe v. Wade plaintiff
Norma McCorvey, apparently has closed. "I am absolutely ecstatic that there's
one less abortion clinic in the city of Dallas," McCorvey said Friday.
Rev. Flip Benham of Operation Save America (Operation Rescue) said that
this is the sixth abortion chamber in Dallas to close since 1991.

Abortion link to breast cancer debated
Lawrence Journal-World
A Kansas state House committee held a hearing Tuesday on a bill to
require abortionists to tell women about the increased risk of breast
cancer from abortion. Abortion supporters wondered why, if there is
a connection between abortion and breast cancer, the American Cancer
Society does not say so. But attorney John Kindley noted that
anti-smoking groups claimed a link between smoking and lung cancer
long before the American Cancer society did. "I can assure you the
facts are quite simple," Kindley said. "It's a question of what to do
about these facts."

introduced a similar measure in Santa Fe.

Abortion & Breast Cancer: Hardest Case or Cruelest Myth?
Joel Brind, Ph.D.
Perhaps the most common indication for a "life of the mother" abortion is
the diagnosis of breast cancer in a woman who is pregnant. But there is
a sound biological basis to the beneficial effects of a full-term
pregnancy, even when breast cancer has already occurred.

Mafia, unlicensed doctors linked to abortion facilities
Cybercast News Service
A federal racketeering probe in Chicago alleges that a mafia don owns and
operates a prominent abortion facility and actively tries to bribe
politicians on the premises. But pro-lifers say this is only one example
of the questionable activities at abortion mills in the United States,
pointing to various common financial and medical irregularities.
Is it a sin to pass laws regulating abortion? (commentary)
The Covenant News
People do not have a "right" to murder other people. Therefore, if someone
claims he has a "right" to murder people, what do we say? Proverbs 26:4
says, "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto
him." Does that mean our response should be to help pass laws to regulate
the way a fool commits murder? No. That makes us like unto him.

Police release affidavit supporting murder charge against abortionist
The Daily Oklahoman
A bloody crime scene, a rumored affair, and inappropriate
responses led police to arrest abortionist John Baxter Hamilton
hours after his wife was slain, police said in an affidavit released
Tuesday. Hamilton was wearing bloodstained clothing, but no shoes or
necktie, while the victim had a necktie around her neck.
"Hamilton appeared to be acting and not concerned for the
victim," the document said.

has had his license revoked in several states because of endangering the

Associated Press (Fox News)

British breast cancer rise is blamed on abortions
Guardian Unlimited Observer
According to a paper to be published by the Royal Statistical Society, the
rise in abortions in recent decades and the trend to have first children
later in life have set in place an explosion in the number of women suffering
the disease.
One study has suggested that having an abortion before giving birth to a
child, rather than the other way around, increases the chance of breast
cancer by up to four times.

Pensacola pro-life missionary arrested on bogus claim of yelling "racial insults"
Naples Daily News
John Burt, 62, who runs a women's home,
was arrested Friday outside "The Ladies Center" abortion chamber.
Police Captain John Mathis claims that Burt yelled "This place has killed more than
the Ku Klux Klan did" to a black couple.
Note from Voice For Life editor Tim Palmquist: Where is the "racial insult"
here? It sounds like Burt was condemning the abortion mill and
the Ku Klux Klan. We do not know Burt personally, but advise that most of
the information in this article be taken with a grain of salt. If you
know of anyone who has personal knowledge of Burt or this incident, please

San Francisco Examiner
A San Francisco jury agreed that Planned Parenthood should pay $672,610

that she is suicidal and haunted by visions of babies being killed.
Judge Douglas Munson ordered that Planned Parenthood be held responsible
for refusing to provide critical medical documents to the woman.
